“If babies could talk, they might say one of two things: ‘I’m hungry!’ or ‘Change me!’ Sometimes, it’s simple to understand what an infant needs and how you can help. To help make a difference and advocate for the neediest babies and parents, WSRA member Angela Wallis is holding her annual Stuff the Bus diaper drive to benefit WestSide BabyHer goal is to gather 7,000 diapers by July 15th!

Angela will deliver all of the donations to WestSide Baby (westsidebaby.org). WestSide Baby works with 114 social service organizations to help 46,000 local kids each year. Making a difference can be as simple as gifting diapers! Please contact Angela at amwallis@gmail.com to get involved and to arrange sending sizes 4, 5 & 6 diapers or pull-ups (sizes 3T-4T & 5T) to her house.

WestSide Baby is the only social service agency in the western King County area that collects, inspects and distributes free diapers, clothing, cribs, and safety gear for babies and children.  The organization also significantly diverts children’s clothing, furniture and safety gear such as car seats from the landfill by repairing and reusing the items and getting them into the hands of those in need. Angela recently presented at our 2018 20/20 ReSlam on the great work of West Side Baby and her annual diaper drive.
